Avenue of the Baobabs, Madagascar– is a group of Baobab trees lining the road between Morondava and Belon’i Tsiribihina region in western Madagascar. Sadly the area is not a national park and is threatened by deforestation. Baobab trees are known locally as, “Mother of the Forest”, and can live up to 800 years old. http://i.imgur.com/GVOTu.jpg
